TriMark USA is a leading provider of food services equipment. Their Oracle Commerce-based B2B Ecommerce capabilities had grown a bit stale, with some systems limitations preventing a more widespread launch into their substantial customer base. This online shopping limitation was causing unnecessary overhead as other methods of accepting customer orders were more overhead-heavy.
Solution
The TriMark team engaged McFadyen Digital due to our extensive history with both the Oracle-base commerce platform and the complexities of B2B ecommerce. With an eye on both the near and longer-term digital commerce considerations, McFadyen recommended a major version upgrade of the ecommerce platform, in addition to several structural changes and process improvements that would prepare TriMark to rapidly onboard a large amount of customers.
The combination of technology and process upgrades saw TriMark onboard customers across 14 various divisions onto a single B2B ecommerce platform. The results have been happier customers and increased online order flow and a decrease in the overhead spent accepting and processing such orders.
