This led to most orders being placed using fax order forms or calling the orders in to sales and service representatives. The Zebra team knew that a more modern B2B commerce option was required, even though they had over 14,000 accounts requiring their own catalog and pricing.
Zebra formed a specialized team to evolve their online ordering experience, evaluating a cadre of top global partners. McFadyen Digital was chosen to architect the Oracle Commerce Cloud-based next-gen B2B ordering experience and design the user interface, including the integration with Oracle CPQ Cloud for complex configurable items. McFadyen’s OCC and UX/UI experts worked with Zebra’s other preferred partners, including AccelAlpha for the CPQ implementation, and the Zebra team to ensure the underlying structure was as sound as the user experience.
The end-result is an intuitive, modern B2B shopping experience that rivals any top retail site. Zebra has been able to rapidly on-board their customer base, which has adopted the platform and dramatically reduced the amount of fax and call-in orders.
