Peter Evans
Chief Strategy Officer
Peter C. Evans is Chief Strategy Officer at McFadyen Digital. He has over 25 years of experience leading teams in identifying, framing, assessing, and communicating high-priority marketplace trends and disruptions that support business planning and investment prioritization. He developed deep expertise in platform strategy having worked with a wide range of clients from Fortune 500 companies, mid-size companies and startups. Prior to joining McFadyen Digital, Peter held senior strategy at large global enterprises (former partner at KPMG, GM, Global Strategy & Planning, GE). He is the co-chair of the MIT Platform Strategy Summit and the NTWRK Summit in Barcelona, Spain and serves as an Advisory Board member to Marketplace Risk.
He is a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations and served on the board of the National Association for Business Economics. He is the Lead Instructor at Caltech Executive Education and was a visiting instructor teaching platform strategy and design for three years at Dartmouth College. Peter received his BA from Hampshire College and his master’s degree and PhD degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Across 20+ years, Alex has meticulously carved his niche within global power houses like Coca-Cola and Kraft Foods (now MDLZ). From overseeing marketing across ten markets to sculpting product innovation and brand management, his experience is invaluable, especially for enterprises and top SMEs on the brink of marketplace, platform, and ecosystem exploration. In his stint in Coffee innovation, collaborating closely with Operations and managing the Stage-Gate Process, he anchored significant innovation projects. He led large direct and remote teams across many diverse cultures, nationalities, and diversities.
Over the last 11 years, Alex’s expertise has been a beacon for businesses navigating the complex corridors of digital transformation covering omnichannel retailers, manufacturers, and branded businesses. He successfully ran his own consulting business for over 6 years and has startup experience as well. In his current role at McFadyen Digital, he is leading the expansion and operations into this new geography, EMEA. He is engaging with global communities and actively contributes to the evolution of thought leadership in the space at the intersection of brand-innovation-change-platforms. He is publishing a weekly newsletter “Ecosystem Espresso” in this field with a growing number of subscribers.
