ATG Portlets
ATG Portal provides a robust application framework along with an extensive set of portal building blocks called portlets, which are packaged, plug-and-play "mini-apps" that enhance ATG Online CRM by providing vital new functionality in a variety of important areas. ATG and our ATG Global Alliance Network provide portals that can be easily configured to deliver access to your enterprise systems, including tools for business intelligence, content management and syndication, content aggregation and search, multi-channel delivery, security, collaboration, calendaring, and more.
ATG's component-based architecture lets Alliance partners easily create portlets that can be packaged and reused across a wide array of applications.
ATG Portal also includes comprehensive administrative tools integrated into the ATG Control Center for your IT staff and the ability to delegate the administration of communities or entire portals to other departments inside or outside your company from any browser.
With all the interest in portals today, many software vendors have developed point solutions to address the needs of an employee portal application or a partner portal. ATG Portal is a complete solution for all your portal needs across your global business — for employees, partners, and customers. That means that you can share portlets across multiple portals and your IT staff only has to learn one portal environment to support all your needs.
ATG and its partners provide portlets that can be easily configured to enhance the ATG Portal. This application comes with a complimentary series of portlets for you to start working with immediately. Also included is the Portlet Developer Kit, a combination of portal- and portlet-related documentation and code, to enable your IT staff to add or change portlets quickly and easily.
