As part of McFadyen Solution's continued achievements in a full-lifecycle e-commerce developer, members of the McFadyen creative staff attended the Internet Retailer Web Design '08 Conference. Located in Miami Florida, the two day seminar gathered representatives from top-tier multi-channel retailers to describe their efforts in understanding their customers' web interactions, and refining their web sites' user experiences.

With an emphasis on understanding, enticing and satisfying the web-savvy consumer, speakers emphasized the importance of leveraging surveys, site analytics and search queries to gather hard data on internal site traffic and emerging product trends. Several presenters also offered practical advice on the proper consideration of user experience in all phases of development.
