Accounting Manager

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounting Manager is responsible for processing the day to day accounting activities of the firm. Must be able to perform accounting functions to include billings, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Tasks are as follows:
- Prepare monthly invoices to customers.
- Maintain accounts receivable schedules.
- Collection of past due accounts
- Process vendor and sub-contractor invoices for payment.
- Process time reports and compile utilization data.
- Process payments for employee expense reports.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Assist with monthly close.
- Maintain files
SKILLS REQUIRED
- AS/BS degree in Accounting preferable, but will consider progressive and consistent work experience.
- 4-7 years accounting experience.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Current accounting system is Peachtree, so any relevant experience is helpful.
